WORK MARKET

Preparation for ministry is the goal of most theology students. But a contingent of apprentices has an interesting work space in the field of evangelization and human promotion, to give an example in educational works, humanitarian aid, assistance and health organizations, either in Brazil or abroad.
The Armed Forces usually hold a chaplain contest and one of the main requirements is that the candidate has a degree in Theology, as well as in hospitals and community counseling services. Large companies also require a degree. The NGOs that develop social projects look to the theologian to give spiritual advice or give lectures on spirituality to the public served by them. Another important place is the publishing houses of religious magazines and books.
