Balancing artistic, creative and performing practices with theoretical studies, the cycle of studies promotes a deep critical, musicological and sociological reflection on the main themes that link music with the technologies emerged from the new era and past generations, including relationships between classical music, musical practices and popular processes, technological creation and interpretation, as well as the music and entertainment industry.

Historical aspects related to musical art, technology and spirituality of music and sound are approached in a specialized way, reflecting on their technical, aesthetic and conceptual implications in the creation and musical practices of our current time and of past centuries. The diverse technical knowledge within the scope of the study area will allow the development of creative activities of musical practice both in terms of production and interpretation.
